TO IMARC
IMARC
Since prophecy seems to be so important, IMARC believes that our Lord will return bodily/physically when he decides so to do. We do not profess any particular view on prophecy except for the above. Yet there are writers who have written on IMARC who do express their views. Please chose from the topics listed in the box below.

Articles by friends of IMARC which link directly to their web site. Enjoy. While many of us have been taught this as a fundamental truth of Christianity, it is absolutely without any Biblical warrant. The truth is that this is nothing more than theory. It is something that people have used to build towers of doctrinal presumption upon for years. Imagine, this unbiblical assumption is used as the basis and foundation for all kinds of doctrine. The danger of this is that is that the foundation they build upon is not from the Bible. If we build upon a foundation that is false, it can only lead to more false doctrine in the long run. The Providence of God This section focuses on the providence or guardianship of God in regards to the world and its inhabitants. Defending himself against accusations of Pelagianism, he uses inclusive language to describe the sovereignty and power of God. He wants no one to misunderstand his intentions or beliefs in this matter. For Arminius, God is supremely in charge.
Acts 27 and the Possibility of Apostasy
One of the strongest arguments that true believers in Christ can forsake faith in Christ and so perish is that Scripture warns believers against forsaking their faith and the accompanying consequence of perishing. There is no point in warning someone against doing something he knows he cannot do and suffering consequences he knows he cannot possibly experience. But some Calvinists appeal to the shipwreck story of Acts 27 in order to support the claim that it is reasonable to issue warnings or take them seriously when God has already guaranteed that a given action and its threatened consequence will not happen (see, e.g., Thomas R. Schreiner, "Perseverance and Assurance: A Survey and a Proposal," Southern Baptist Journal of Theology Hawkings Belief in "Fairy Stories"
Well paint me red and call me a fire truck. Dr. Stephen Hawking now believes that Heaven is a "fairy story." Why we must believe this man because he is one of the smartest individuals in the world. What a brilliant scholar he is. According to "...his 2010 book "The Grand Design" he said a deity no longer has any place in theories on the creation of the universe in the light of a series of developments in physics." |

Brother Gao Zhisheng, We Love You and are Praying for You.
This brings us to the main point. Recently a Chinese Christian man was stolen from his home in
the middle of the night. His name is Gao Zhisheng. His crimes are being a Christian, and
fighting for the rights of others. One time before, he was incarcerated for 50 days. He was
tortured beyond description. IMARC editorials
I have always found it strange how most modern leaders in Communist, and Socialist countries hate Christianity. Perhaps the reason is that as they want to set up their kingdoms, they run smack into Christ's. Whatever the reason, persecution is the normal out come of Communism, and Socialism. Christ told us that they would do the same to us as to him. But he reminded us that it was done to us because of their hate for Him. |
